Marrakech: The next Saint Tropez?

Have you ever thought about where all the superstars and billionaires spend their holidays. Well it's the French Riviera a beautiful Mediterranean city simply called Saint-Tropez. You must of heard of it right?? Right!!

No but wait there has been a new up and coming city dubbed the playground for jet-setters, Fashion and superstars.

The "Redcity" a ancient city located in Morocco. Now you must of heard of this place if not google it now. Its worth a look especially when you see what's going on there.

Over the past 10 years now Marrakech has been slowly but surely dreaming up a plan to become the next in a very exclusive line up of dream holiday locations. As this is 2011 I'm pretty sure it has reached it goal.

It's not often you find a city which holds to very different worlds. From the ancient Medina boasting some of the most surreal experiences one could ever have.

Explore the spice souks and get lost in a maze of small alleyways until you reach the amazing Jemma elfna Square that you see above. By night the Square comes alive with a whole range of traditional Moroccan music, real fresh orange juice sellers, Enough fresh food to feed a nation and so much excitement to last you until 2am. Marrakech strives on it's night-life. As Marrakech reaches extreme heats during the summer months, Once the sun has set over those spectacular snow-capped High Atlas Mountains. The city starts to come alive to the beat of drums and the smell of spices.

Now onto the main subject is Marrakech really the next hotspot for all things luxurious? We know it provides an out of world experience for all willing to go of the beaten track, but can it match a world leading super exclusive hotspot.

Well I'm convinced

Marrakech boasts major events such as Decembers International Marrakech film festival. Which has been attracting world renowned actors and actresses for the past Ten Years.

Who would of thought you could travel to Marrakech in the lovely month of April to be sucked into the world of Motorsport the FIA WTCC Race of Morocco that is. An inner city circuit created for the annual event with the legendary Formula 2 teams and FIA World Touring Car Championship. Nothing can get better than that for a common motor head. Stunning blue skies, stunning girls and of course the sound that can take any man's breath away. Cars running at super speeds purely for entertainment. All while your wife is getting lost and spending big in the souks.
